PICK-UP GRASS FED & FINISHED HAMBURGER

PICK-UP GRASS FED & FINISHED HAMBURGER

Whole Grass Fed Cow Hamburger - Available in 5 package increments (each package weighs ~ 1 pound).  The cost is $9/pound. Your initial invoice will be adjusted for the actual weight of the beef you purchase.

Not currently available.

Weatherbury Farm's Grass Fed Whole Cow Hamburger may just be the best hamburger you have ever eaten (at least we here at Weatherbury Farm think so, but then we might be a wee bit prejudiced!)

Weatherbury’s cows eat lush certified organic grass from April to December, moving to a new pasture every couple of days. During the winter, they eat certified organic hay.

Of course, there are no pesticides, herbicides, growth hormones or antibiotics.

And since Weatherbury Farm is local – you pick up your beef at the farm, there are no worries about the origin of the beef.

Weatherbury Farm’s Grass Fed Hamburger will be available at the August 23 pickup in 5 package increments (each package weighs ~ 1lb).  The cost is $9/pound at Weatherbury.  Your initial invoice  will be adjusted for the actual weight of the beef you purchase.   For example, if your five packages weigh 6.1 pounds, the total cost will be adjusted to $54.90 from $60, the amount initially billed.

The hamburger will be in frozen packages (~ 1lb each) when you pick it up.

Please keep Grass-Fed Hamburger frozen until ready to use.

Limited to three ~ 5 pound package increments per pickup.

Grass Fed Whole Cow Hamburger, when available, can be picked up at on-farm monthly pickup.

Storing Weatherbury Farm Products

Weatherbury Flours are real food and insects find them tasty.

Although there are organic pesticides, we do not use them, either on the grains in the field or the products we mill.  Therefore the flour, rolled products or berries should be stored in the refrigerator.  If you will not be using immediately, keep in the freezer, especially in warm weather.

We have had reports from customers that even after two years they still work and taste great. We wouldn’t, however, recommend storing them that long.

Otherwise even if you store them in a tightly lidded bucket,  you will open your bucket and find  bugs slipping into what you thought was an impenetrable space.  If you have been using organic flours, milled products & berries and there are no bugs, then an organic pesticide has been used.

Keep the beans in a cool, dark, dry place.  Dry beans will, over time, take longer to cook (but they still have great flavor).
